Every day on my way to work, I see at least one (most of the time, more) person who doesn't use blinkers when he or she changes lane or makes a turn. This is my biggest pet peeve. I thought it might be fun to share some of my other pet peeves in this post, instead of always writing about what I like. And who knows, maybe some of you get bothered by the same things as me.
Don't use turn signal
As I just mentioned, this is my number one pet peeve, and it doesn't help that I see this happens every day. Not using blinkers bothers me really much because not only could it be dangerous, it's also not a hard thing to do at all, so I really don't understand why some people don't do it.
I have to admit, I’m very impatient, so I really don’t like waiting because it's like a waste of my time, especially when I don't know how long I have to wait. If I make a plan with you, I would always try my best to be there at least five minutes early. Of course, I understand if there’s an emergency or something unexpected comes up suddenly that could make you late. But we all know these kinds of things don’t happen all the time.
Talk over others/not listening
I've met few people who always have their opinions about everything, and they have to share them no matter where, when, and with who. I've been in situations where someone tries to tell a story or share something with the group, but that person would interrupt multiple times to make comments or even just take over before the original story is even finished. Not only do I think this is very rude, I also just really want to listen to the original story!
Don't know personal space
I get really uncomfortable when people who are not my family or close friends get too close to me. Luckily, this type of situation doesn't happen too often in my life. Another one related to personal space, it also shocks me that people think it's okay to touch other's belongings without asking first.
Though others might not get as bothered by these things as I, I still think that my pet peeves are pretty common. Anyway, I just really hope that I could see fewer people drive without their turn signals in the future, so I could go to work in a better mood!
