One of my favorite things to do during my free time is to watch makeup tutorials on YouTube. Those videos make me feel very relaxed. I started wearing makeup every day when I was in college because my schedule was more flexible, I had more time in the morning to do it. And you know you can't go back once you started something. The good thing is, I enjoy doing my makeup. I think it's a fun process. It took me 10 to 15 minutes every morning to do my makeup before work. I also like to use this time to catch up with some Podcasts. I don't use any special technique or fancy product, and everything I used is under $15, except for the eyeshadow, which I got as a gift.
As someone who has problematic skin (pores, blemishes, oily), I'm always looking for something that is full coverage and long-lasting. My current primer is e.l.f. This is my first time using it, and honestly, I don't think it reduces the redness on my face, but I really like the consistency of it. The primer I use before this is the Fix And Perfect Pro by Rimmel, and I also really like it. For foundation, I ran out of COVERGIRL (Aquasmooth Compact Foundation), so I'm using the one from L'Oréal. They both have very good and build-able coverage to me, and I really like the finish looks. I use the two concealers for my under eye and chin and nose area. After applying the setting powder, my base is done.

Brows & Eyes:
Another thing that's important to me other than foundation is eyebrows. I have light and very uneven brows. I like using brow palette more than pencil because it looks more natural to me. I don't wear eyeliner to work, but I would apply some eyeshadow, so my eyes don't look too plain. Then put on some mascara, I can move on to the last part.

Contour was the very thing that I learned how to do, and I'm still not very good at it. To me, contouring is not as important as anything else (probably because I haven't been doing it for too long), so it's something that I could skip if I don't have enough time. I bronze my face with the darker colors to make it look more defined, then add the blush to put on some color on my cheeks. I also put a little highlighter on the high point of my cheeks, but not too much, because my face usually shines throughout the day.

Last, I spray some Makeup Mist & Set by e.l.f. and I'm done! I don't do any touch-up during the day, so I get very oily by the end of work. But the good thing is the next thing I do at that point is to remove all the makeup and oil off, so I can relax with a fresh face for the rest of the night!
