Flying is so stressful, especially as someone who's a homebody. But I've always admired people who do it by themselves. Although I've been to two different countries and moved across the globe, I've never flown by myself until my last trip to Taiwan. I'm really glad that I got the experience at the beginning of this year, and it made me feel so independent for the first time.

Being a very low-key paranoid, dramatic person...

After my last short trip back to Taiwan, I knew I had to go back more often. This year, I was lucky enough to take an extended vacation (the downside was I didn't have any time-off the entire year till now). I visited Taiwan for four weeks this time and had the best time ever! I was able to gathered some clips I took over there, which include the people I love and of course, lots of food.

Last year, when I went back to Taiwan, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos about packing. Pretty much every video I watched mentioned packing cubes. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to buy them for my last trip. I'm not a fast language learner, and as someone who has been in the states for almost a decade, I still know way too little than I should. When I look back on my journey of learning English, there...

Iwent back to Taiwan during Christmas and New Year. It has been five years since the last time I went back. Though I was only there for 16 days, I got to go to four different cities to visit my family and some of my friends. I must say, it was so nice to finally see them after all these years. A lot of things had changed over time, from the views of the city I grew up, to our ages and the shapes of our bodies. But I'm glad that my relationships w...

Imoved to the U.S. in 2008. I went to the public high school for two years and studied four years in college. I would have to say that I'm extremely lucky to be able to come to the U.S. with my family so I'm not alone. Although I wasn't an exchange student, there are still a lot of things I learned from studying in a different country. I want to share three things that I think are important to remember for you to have a wonderful experience when...
